"To find God, we MUST SEEK Him"
“To find God, we MUST SEEK Him”

Seeking True Love

12 When you call out to me and come to me in prayer, I will hear your prayers. 13 When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul. (Jeremiah 29:12-13)

Seeking God is similar as developing a friendship. We talk a lot, we listen, we think about each other, we find out what the other likes and does not like, and try to do things that please our friend. The more we spend time together, the more we know our friend, and the more we know our friend, the greater our love will be. All this things works the same way with our relationship with God. To find God, we must seek Him with our whole heart. This means we can’t seek God while we do our own thing. Devotion to Christ is giving everything or nothing at all, our devotion must be a serious commitment to His Lordship.

If we wanna know God intimately, we must seek Him, not only with a whole heart, but also with a clean heart. The Lord’s fiance must have a clean heart. We must clean up any sin that may arise between us and our heavenly Bridegroom. If we want our devotion to God be complete, get in there and confess it, clean it up, and clear it out. Be rid of it, and if we notice that we have spiritual halitosis during the day, let’s take care of it immediately.

To grow in our knowledge of God, we must seek God correctly, which is means we must also seek God with a pure heart. Seek God with a pure heart means we seek God’s face , not just His hand. We must seek Him with a pure motives, seek Him for who He is not just for what He can do for us,

If we wanna get to know the Lord, we must seek him not only wth a whole, clean and pure heart, but also with a listening heart. Listening is an important part of developing a closeness with someone else. As we spend more time with God during our daily devotional time, we learn to listen to Him as we read about His love and thoughts for us in the bible. As we read and study His love letters, the bible, we begin to see what He really thinks of us and what wonderful plans He has for us. As the result is our devotion grows and grows.

To find God, we must seek Him with a whole, clean, pure and listening heart.

An Advantageous Position

“…An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world—how she can please her husband” (1 Cor. 7:34 NIV).

Married women wrestle constantly having to balance the physical and emotional demands placed on them. All women must learn to balance their priorities, but we, as single woman, is not sent in different directions by the needs of husband and children. God says that the unmarried woman has the advantage about her devotion to the Lord. An unmarried woman can give the Lord what a married woman rarely can-undistract devotion. A married woman struggles to have time alone with herself, much less time alone with God. Becoming a Lady in Waiting, devoted to loving, knowing, and seeking God, won’t come cheaply. We are the one who determines the depth of our relationship with God.

“God has given us a precious privileged time, let’s not waste a day of it! Cause we will never have it again.”
